  • Who can use Gigi's services?

Gigi's Place supports pet parents who may not have anyone to care for their pets during medical emergencies. We offer home pick-up and can schedule temporary stays or fosters for planned surgeries. Many people delay necessary procedures due to lack of pet care, but at Gigi's Place, we'll look after your pet

  • What types of care do you provide?

Dogs – Boarding at our facility or placement with a foster family.

Cats – Either cared for at our facility, placed with fosters, or cared for in their own home with twice-daily visits.

Other pets – Small animals may be fostered depending on volunteer availability.

All necessities—food, treats, blankets, beds, and vet transport—are covered through donations.

  • What happens if I need to surrender my pet permanently?

If an owner cannot resume care, Gigi’s Place helps rehome the pet through a trusted shelter partner, ensuring they are placed in a safe, loving home.

  • How much does it cost?

Our services are completely free to patients, thanks to generous donations from our community and the dedication of volunteers.

  • How can I volunteer?

We welcome volunteers of all kinds!

    Opportunities include:

Fostering dogs, cats, or small animals

Transporting pets to/from foster homes or vet visits

Helping with feeding, walking, and care at our facility

  • How can I donate?

Every donation makes a difference. For example, just $25 can feed a foster pet for a week. You can give by clicking our donate button throughout our website to help us keep pets safe and loved while their humans heal.

  • Why is this work so important?

Because healing is easier when you know your pet is safe. No one should have to choose between their health and their pet. Gigi’s Place makes sure families can focus on recovery while their pets receive the same love and care they’d get at home.
